Justin Cosby

The Justin Cosby Scholarship is an annual Arts & Entertainment Management scholarship honouring Justin’s legacy.

The scholarship, in partnership with AIM (The Australian Institute of Music), will offer an educational grounding in arts & entertainment management providing students with a huge springboard into the industry Justin loved.

Justin Cosby was the A&R Director of Inertia Music, one of Australia’s leading independent music companies, when he passed away on 25th June 2021 at the age of 50.

He was a unique force in a tough and competitive industry who lived and breathed music. Justin was a caring listener often devoting as much of his time to those starting out as to some of the internationally recognized artists he signed and worked with during his time at Inertia.

His legacy is the company and culture he built at Inertia and the music that he helped bring into the world for us all to enjoy. Now, with the support of Justin’s family, friends and colleagues, an esteemed music scholarship has been established in his name.
